Resilience should not be considered as a substitute for Defense in any way. The above statement of Resilience’s equality to Defense should come with a disclaimer that it is only for achieving uncrittable status. It should also be noted that Resil does nothing for achieving Uncrushable status, as it does not raise chances to parry, block or dodge the way that Defense does.
15 Defense Rating is equal to roughly 1% total mitigation as it adds about .25% to Block, Dodge, Parry and your chance to be missed. This, of course, only counts if your defense rating is enough to form an entire point due to defense rating rounding down to the nearest total point.
