Inspired by Banana Shoulders, I’ve decided to write my own little shopping list of items to buy once the patch hits. As you might have suspected, it focuses on Protection Paladins. Here I go:

1. Blue’s Greaves of the Righteous Guardian (75 badges) - Right now the only tanking boots I have are Boots of the Righteous Path so an upgrade might be good. Sure, I’ll lose 23 Defense Rating (~10 Defense), but I’ll still be above the 490 Defense cap. I realize these boots are practically made for AoE grinding, but most if my playing time is spent doing that.
2. Ring of the Stalwart Protector (60 badges) -This is an excellent ring to have. Don’t think there’s one tank out there who doesn’t want it. Serious candidate for the first spot on this list.
3. Inscribed Legplates of the Aldor (100 badges)
4. Shattrath Protectorate’s Breastplate (100 badges)

Well, the last two on the list are just for the hell of it. Probably before I gather 200 badges for them, WotLK will be out. Yes, I don’t play THAT much.

At the moment I have 34 badges so I should probably farm more. I have been trying to do the daily heroic each day, but I kind of failed at that. Instead, I preferred to quest/grind Consortium rep/exploit the AH. Guess it’s time to do a full Kara run, eh?
