Welcome to Part IV of my “Useful professions for a Protection Paladin” series. Today it’s Enchanting’s turn. Let’s get right to the subject, shall we?

Enchanting pro’s

• Probably one of the best professions for a Protection Paladin, along with Jewelcrafting;
• Excellent source of income through farming instances and selling mats or selling the enchants them selfs;
• Access to two very good enchants, that can make the difference: Enchant Ring - Spellpower and Enchant Ring - Stats;

Enchanting cons

• Slow and expensive to level if you don’t farm the mats yourself;
• Difficult to obtain the popular enchants (low drop rate, endless farming, etc.);

Again, not much to be said from a pally tank’s view, but I strongly recommend for every Protection Paladin to take Enchanting along with Jewelcrafting. It’s probably the best combo out there.
