2.4 Shopping List

Inspired by Banana Shoul­ders, I’ve decided to write my own lit­tle shop­ping list of items to buy once the patch hits. As you might have sus­pected, it focuses on Pro­tec­tion Pal­adins. Here I go:

1. Blue’s Greaves of the Right­eous Guardian (75 badges) — Right now the only tank­ing boots I have are Boots of the Right­eous Path so an upgrade might be good. Sure, I’ll lose 23 Defense Rat­ing (~10 Defense), but I’ll still be above the 490 Defense cap. I real­ize these boots are prac­ti­cally made for AoE grind­ing, but most if my play­ing time is spent doing that.
2. Ring of the Stal­wart Pro­tec­tor (60 badges) –This is an excel­lent ring to have. Don’t think there’s one tank out there who doesn’t want it. Seri­ous can­di­date for the first spot on this list.
3. Inscribed Leg­plates of the Aldor (100 badges)
4. Shat­trath Protectorate’s Breast­plate (100 badges)

Well, the last two on the list are just for the hell of it. Prob­a­bly before I gather 200 badges for them, WotLK will be out. Yes, I don’t play THAT much.

At the moment I have 34 badges so I should prob­a­bly farm more. I have been try­ing to do the daily heroic each day, but I kind of failed at that. Instead, I pre­ferred to quest/grind Con­sor­tium rep/exploit the AH. Guess it’s time to do a full Kara run, eh?
