Highlight: Altism and you!



A prob­lem caught my atten­tion recently, that of altism.

I am glad to say I don’t have this con­di­tion. All the char­ac­ters I have are Tepisor — the awe­some Pro­tec­tion Pal­adin we all know and love, Tepi — level 45 Shadow Priest I play for fun and which I intend to use for PvP, Tiep — level 19 twink hunter (work in progress) and a bank char — name shall not be divulged for eco­nom­i­cal pur­poses. That’s it!

I don’t feel the need to play any other char­ac­ters at the moment. I don’t have enough time to play other char­ac­ters. Play­ing these already takes more time than it should (yes, I have a time man­age­ment problem!).

But I can under­stand those who have many alts, as many as their account lets them to have. Exper­i­ment­ing and play­ing all the classes cer­tainly gives a deeper per­spec­tive on WoW. It can be use­ful in many ways and helps you bet­ter under­stand groups and the roles of each player in a group or raid. But how can you fully under­stand a class when you stop play­ing it at level 20? Or level 45? You can’t.

So for all of you alt-aholics out there: Stop doing it! l2level!

   I got it, and i got it bad — untill i got vigdis — she was lvl 70 in in 7–8 days (played time ofc, took about a month or two in RL) — now im PvP’ing her into epic’s and then maybe at a later point respec her into deep fury and start help­ing the guild as DPS. But i sus­pect i’ll regress into it again sooner or later.

   One per­son i know to suf­fer from heavy Altism –is Dreac­the­laen, alias melpomene, alias najwa, alias ebenezer, alias hemo­ther­apy alias… etc.
