Ups, I did it again



Remem­ber that I told you how I often for­get things? Yeah, it hap­pened again.

Two days ago (day 24 of The Plan) I finally rounded up 5200g (no bor­rows) and bought my epic fly­ing mount: Swift Pur­ple Gryphon. I’m pretty happy about it. First impres­sion? “OMG THIS IS FAST !!11oneoneeleven” (caps intended).

Why pur­ple? To match my Jus­ticar Shoul­der­guards. And because it’s trendy.

So I got my mount in 24 days. From ~50g to 5200g. That makes an aver­age of ~214g/day. How did I do it? Scanning/exploiting the AH, farm­ing Stratholme a few times, sell­ing enchant­ing mate­ri­als, but most of the gold came from Jew­el­craft­ing. I’m really glad I dropped Black­smithing for it.

On a dif­fer­ent note, from tomor­row I’m free a whole week so I’ll prob­a­bly raid those 25-mans and expe­ri­ence the game a bit more. Can’t wait. If I also get some nice loot I don’t mind. I’ll be sure to blog about it.
