IV): Enchanting">Useful professions for a Protection Paladin (IV): Enchanting



Wel­come to Part IV of my “Use­ful pro­fes­sions for a Pro­tec­tion Pal­ad­in” series. Today it’s Enchanting’s turn. Let’s get right to the sub­ject, shall we?

Enchant­ing pro’s

• Prob­a­bly one of the best pro­fes­sions for a Pro­tec­tion Pal­adin, along with Jew­el­craft­ing;
• Excel­lent source of income through farm­ing instances and sell­ing mats or sell­ing the enchants them selfs;
• Access to two very good enchants, that can make the dif­fer­ence: Enchant Ring — Spellpower and Enchant Ring — Stats;

Enchant­ing cons

• Slow and expen­sive to level if you don’t farm the mats yourself;
• Dif­fi­cult to obtain the pop­u­lar enchants (low drop rate, end­less farm­ing, etc.);

Again, not much to be said from a pally tank’s view, but I strongly rec­om­mend for every Pro­tec­tion Pal­adin to take Enchant­ing along with Jew­el­craft­ing. It’s prob­a­bly the best combo out there.
