‘Sup?

Before i get started with the major changes that are going on around here, I’d like to point out a few things on why new con­tent is so scarce around here:

  • fin­ished school;
  • changed jobs (actu­ally, got promoted);
  • got bored of WoW and can­celed my account(s) 6 months ago;
  • didn’t get in the Beta (yet), but I guess you need to have an active account to even get invited;

Now that I’ve got­ten that out of the way, I’ll make a quick sum­mary of the future of this blog:

World of War­craft and espe­cially Pro­tec­tion Pal­adins will stop being the cen­tral point I write about

Yep. I became increas­ingly dis­grun­tled with every patch on how Pro­tec­tion Pal­adins were chang­ing and soon became bored with the class. The only rea­son I started tank­ing with my Pal­adin back in the Karazhan days was because you had to be a good player to be able to tank suc­cess­fully. This became less and less the case with every patch and con­tent release, until it came to the point that every Pal­adin and their mother rolled Pro­tec­tion. And I wouldn’t be upset with that, but as with WoW in gen­eral, skill in play­ing your class became optional and every moron was able to tank as a Paladin.

Nat­u­rally, I turned to play­ing a dif­fer­ent class. Tried hunter for a bit, found it not very inter­est­ing for my style of play and after sev­eral attempts stopped at priests. And I say priests (plural) because I lev­eled two priests to 80, each of the of dif­fer­ent spec, class and pur­pose (Undead Shadow for raid­ing, Draenei then Troll Disc for PvP).

Those being cleared up, come Cat­a­clysm I’ll def­i­nitely play more of my priests and less of my pal­adin and of course I’ll blog about it.

New games to write about: Heroes of New­erth and Foot­ball Manager

While not play­ing WoW, I kept myself occu­pied with other games.

Heroes of Newerth

I found Heroes of New­erth with the help of my brother. He was a fan of DOTA and started play­ing HoN when the beta started. Got an invite myself and even though I never even touched DOTA before, I was instantly attracted with the game play and action.

My main focus on writ­ing will be guides and per­sonal insights on strength heroes in HoN.

Foot­ball Manager

Another game I’ve played for a very long time is Foot­ball Man­ager. In fact, I’ve been play­ing it since it was named Cham­pi­onship Manager.

I will be focus­ing in my writ­ing about Foot­ball Man­ager on my achieve­ments as a man­ager and dis­cov­er­ing play­ers and tac­tics that work for spe­cific teams.

Con­clu­sion

Hope­fully all these changes will be wel­comed and will expand the reader base. Also, I hope it will reignite the spark I lost while writ­ing only about WoW.

Oh, with new con­tent comes a new design also. Still work­ing on it, not yet satisfied.
