Today is the day we cel­e­brate one year of itankstuff.com!

It’s been a great and inter­est­ing year, in which I learned a lot of things and made a lot of friends. I learned that it’s not as easy to work on and main­tain a blog as I thought it would be, espe­cially a World of War­craft one. It requires a great deal of time and doc­u­men­ta­tion and you need to think a mil­lion times before hit­ting the Pub­lish but­ton or else you’ll make a fool of your­self. The Inter­net is big.

As you can see, we got a new design for the blog. For the past month I worked on find­ing a good theme, one that would fit all my needs. It was hard, I chose one and set­tled on this only two days before today. That means it’s not com­pletely cus­tomized and ready. You can say it’s still a work in progress, as some things are not as they should be.

I would like to thank my read­ers for com­ing back and find­ing the things I write worth read­ing, my com­menter for giv­ing valu­able opin­ions on my posts, the peo­ple who con­tacted me ask­ing for help or just giv­ing excel­lent input and feed­back and all the fol­low WoW blog­gers for giv­ing me inspi­ra­tion to go on.

I’m still not bored of World of War­craft and as long as I’ll find something/anything inter­est­ing to do be sure to blog about it.

Now, being a Word­Press geek and lov­ing it so much, I can’t help myself but to bother you with some new fea­tures that got released in 2.7 and that my new theme sports. I’ll include here some theme-based fea­tures, not nece­sar­ily Word­Press one’s.

  1. Threaded com­ments! Now you can reply to a cer­tain com­ment and it will appear nested with it. Far bet­ter func­tion­al­ity now;
  2. Fea­tured Arti­cles! They appear on top of the blog and have a nice pic­ture to go along with them;
  3. Bet­ter adver­tise­ment plac­ing! One needs to get supported;
  4. New nav­i­ga­tion! You will notice that all my posts until today are in the Uncat­e­go­rized cat­e­gory (lol!). I did this because I want a bet­ter orga­nized post struc­ture so I will limit myself to only a few cat­e­gories which will have sub cat­e­gories of their own;
  5. In gen­eral, a nicer blog design!

I will end this post with one more thank you that goes out to all the peo­ple that made me con­tinue to blog. Stay tuned, there will be more!
