Protection Paladin guide for Karazhan: gear guide and drops

This post is part of the Complete idiot’s guide to Karazhan for Protection Paladins and covers a gear guide and drops you must get for your Protection Paladin. Be sure to read my other guides for your Tankadin on the Guides page. Interesting reads indeed!

Before venturing into an instance you might find useful to know before hand which loot you really need and on what to spend that precious DKP, instead of wasting it on small or not needed upgrades of your gear.

I’ll cover there to main spec drops (tanking drops) for your Tankadin, but also off spec drops (for healing). I usually brake my gaming monotony by sometimes healing some normal or even heroics instances just for the diversity. Why don’t you try also?

Conclusions

As you might have noticed already, there aren’t many pure Protection Paladin items in Karazhan, except for the T4 drops. Unfortunately, we need to wear the warrior drops or we need to farm heroics/badges to fill our sets with badge gear, which is in the first place significantly better than Karazhan drops.

  1. If you do karazhan enough, eventually everyone who wants one will get a King’s Defender.
